25 Years Of WWE Raw Mistakes

Mike Adamle was patently underprepared for his role as WWE's chief broadcaster despite vast experience in the trade. An affable fellow as well, it was a shame to see him fail literally from his first night on the job, but his mistakes and misnomers became an subversively enjoyable element of an incredibly stale product at the time.

Always late to the party and glad to spoil the fun, WWE sacrificed their inexplicably-valued General Manager role into the gag itself when Shane McMahon lifted Adamle from the ECW announce desk to Raw's top table.

"How you doin' Dave" uttered the new gaffer to a perplexed Batista. His first act was to book 'The Animal' against John Cena in a first-time meeting between the pair. The SummerSlam headliner was immediately dragged into the comedic cul-de-sac.
