Mr. Perfect is one of the greatest heels that Vince McMahon's wrestling organisation has ever seen. Whilst he is synonymous with the Intercontinental Championship, Perfect is also famously remembered for destroying Hulk Hogan's WWF Championship.

During late 1989, The Genius became Mr. Perfect's manager as the Perfect One was on a collision course for the then-WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan. In fact, The Genius would actually get a countout win over Hogan during an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event. Perfect and his manager would end up in possession of the WWF Championship, and what followed was an assault on the title.

With the assistance of a trusty hammer, Mr. Perfect would smash up the Hulkster's WWF Title, leaving it literally in shattered pieces.

Considering how huge a star Hulk Hogan was at the time and how much Hulkamania was indeed running wild, brother, what better way to give a middle finger to the all the little Hulksters and the WWF Championship itself?

In the following years, it's believed that the broken WWF Title was stuck back together to become the WWF Harcdcore Championship, although some dispute this. Either way, the smashing up of the WWF's biggest prize was a hugely disrespectful act from a a dastardly heel.
