26 Times Wrestling Titles Have Been Disrespected

25. Smackdown Is Inferior!

During the brand split, to many wrestling fans Smackdown was deemed as the more "must-see" of the two shows. The blue brand, at one point overseen by Paul Heyman, featured what we all love to see from a wrestling product... that being wrestling!

With performers such as Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Edge and Rey Mysterio, Smackdown certainly had plenty of guys who excelled in the ring. Throw in someone like The Undertaker - hell, even throw in a well-used Big Show at times - and you had the makings of a great wrestling show.

But whilst fans loved Smackdown, the WWE was completely geared to Raw being the bigger show. It seemed like whenever the company got the chance, they would constantly remind us that Smackdown was the "B show" and an inferior brand. As such, Smackdown's titles would suffer.

Regardless of whether the World Heavyweight Championship or the WWE Championship was the main belt on Smackdown, it was always treated as secondary to whichever title was on Raw (seemingly often held by Triple H).

The brand split certainly had some positives, but treating Smackdown as inferior certainly disrespected the blue brand's main title.
