Having made waves in ROH and the independent scene for years, Kevin Owens is now finally causing a stir in the WWE system. Despite being the reigning NXT Champion, it was Owens' Monday Night Raw debut that put him firmly in the sights of many.

If it wasn't enough to interrupt John Cena's US Open Challenge, Owens would go on to talk trash to Cena before dropping him with his patented pop-up powerbomb. Not only that, he'd go on to literally step on the US Title.

Only moments earlier, Cena had delivered one of his typical promos where he hit the heart-strings of many an American as he talked up what the US Title represented. Love him or hate him, there's no denying that Cena's run with the US Title has been one of the most engaging parts of WWE TV since Wrestlemania.

So after Cena had made the US Championship seem more important than it'd been in many a year, out comes Kevin Owens to slap down Cena before tossing down the US Title and stepping on it, treating it like a piece of dirt and making no bones about showing his disdain for the belt and what it represents.
