NXT is in danger of becoming SmackDown light if stuff like this keeps happening. In all fairness, the bewildered second show of WWE needs the brilliance of what is still looked upon as WWE's developmental territory to give it some meaning. So many times a Thursday night show will pass you by and leave you wondering what actually happened when you've reached the end. Given that Kevin Owens has signed a full time main roster deal with the WWE, there is a chance he could lose later this week. Surely one of his NXT companions, someone like a Finn Balor for example, would benefit from a short (he's expected to gain promotion to RAW following a summer's programme with Chris Jericho at live shows) run as the man in NXT. Nevertheless, seeing two of NXT's leading men competing on SmackDown can't become a regular thing or Triple H will be in threat of losing some of his 'baby's' luster.
