14. And You Can't Teach That...
Let's take a trip back to The Miz's ill-fated spell on commentary during this week's episode and the moment when he said that Bob Backlund wouldn't be able to teach Darren Young how to be an Intercontinental Championship.
WTF or what, lads? WTF has Miz been smoking with his smoking hot wife Maryse backstage? Talk about stating the obvious or what...
Of course Bob can't teach Darren how to be an inanimate object, Big Daz is made of neither metal nor leather of course which means he simply wouldn't qualify to be a championship belt in WWE.
On the whole The Awesome One is great on the mic but he is prone to a couple of rickets just like this one. That's why I love the man. As I've said a lot in recent times, Miz is on fire.
A SECOND WTF Moment from The Miz has to be his interference in the Young/Alberto Del Rio matchup.
It started off well as Miz's run in allowed Del Rio to roll Darren up for the pin fall. However, Miz locked himself onto the referee, preventing the ref to count the pin fall Miz presumably wanted to see counted... if that makes any sense to you whatsoever.
Not only that, but his presence on the apron allowed Young to roll up a rebounding Mexican Aristocrat for the bridged pin.
What a backwards interference it was. Miz would have been better off at ringside where Del Rio would have prevailed if shenanigans hadn't taken place.
