27 WTF Moments From WWE RAW (Sept 12)

I watched Backlash live on Sunday and witnessed an advert advertising a match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte. I left it out of yesterday's WTF Moments article because I said a few weeks ago that I wouldn't be acknowledging the cross promotion that was going on between RAW and SmackDown Live in the face of what Vince McMahon said about competition pre-brand extension.

However, at the time I was WTF-ing my f*****g ears off because I've read online in the past week or so that any match between Charlotte and Sasha had been quashed by the company following Banks' recent injury problems.

So, the advert aired, I was confused. However, I accepted that we'd be seeing Sasha and Charlotte once again at the next PPV. It will be amazing, as long as Charlotte doesn't try to kill The Boss. Imagine, though, my reaction when we learned that we'd be having a number one contender's match to see who would be facing Charlotte at Clash Of Champions on this week's RAW... And yet still, Sasha was in that match...

Surely that advert was a massive spoiler for this match? Didn't the RAW creative team see it on Sunday? They mustn't have. Why would they be holding a number one contender's match for a match that has already been booked?

I'm starting to question whether that advert actually happened at all...
