20. Tyrus Wins A Future Title Shot, Is Going After The "Heavyweight World Championship Of The World"
The final two men in the Bound for Gold match were Tyrus and and Mr. Anderson, and in a bizarre finish, Tyrus manages to pin him for the victory after delivering a pretty standard punch to his face. It's naturally interesting and relatively unexpected booking considering that, you know, EC3 is the TNA World Champ and all. EC3 comes out to the ring to congratulate his buddy, and suggests that the pair go after the Tag Team Titles. Tyrus then snatches the mic from him and explains that though he's grateful for what EC3 has done for him, he wants a shot at the "Heavyweight World Championship of the World". Tyrus' hilarious over-use of the word "world" aside, this was actually a pretty great segment and about as well-booked as the show ever got. Well done, Tyrus.
