November 15, 2015, was the night Ronda Rousey's undefeated streak and title reign came to an abrupt end at the hands of Holly Holm. It was also a significant turning point in the former Olympian's MMA career.

Overnight, Rousey went from a fighter who talked about finishing her career undefeated to a dejected former champ who seemed ready to hang up her gloves at just 28 years of age.

Holm would go on to lose the belt to Rousey's rival Meisha Tate in her very next fight and has gone 2-4 in the UFC, since pulling off one of the most memorable upsets in MMA. Holm is an amazing fighter, but beatable.

It would take some work, and possibly a change in training camps, but Rousey could give "The Preacher's Daughter" a run for her money in a rematch.

As good a striker as Holm is, as fans saw in the Miesha Tate fight, her ground game is far from elite. Without getting overly technical, the right coaching staff could potentially show a phenomenal athlete like Rousey how to use her striking to close the distance and get the fight to the ground.

Even with some adjustments, beating an experienced combat athlete, who is as an intelligent as Holly Holm, would be no easy task. However, if Rousey were able to at least go the distance (or show significant improvement) in a losing effort, it would make for a nice comeback story.
