3 Ups & 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept. 6)

1. Can They Ever Have A Bad Match?

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus could be blindfolded, forced to wear boxing gloves and drugged, and they’d still managed to have a passable wrestling match.

The duo tangled for a United States Championship match (at least, they stated that and didn’t say it was for an opportunity to possible challenge for the title down the line) and had their usual hard-hitting match where they threw each other around, chopped, headbutted and slammed each other with reckless abandon.

The finish – McIntyre missing a Claymore and getting rolled up – is intriguing if only because you can almost see the wheels turning for a McIntyre heel turn as he loses multiple times and the fans aren’t exactly rallying to his side.

And pitting Sheamus against Damian Priest again is just fine by us. It’ll be a good match, and hopefully Priest can win cleanly and really solidify his standing.
