3 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 3)

6. Sit Down, Pat Buck

There's absolutely nothing convincing about Nia Jax's new role, which attempts to present her as a big, bad*ss monster raging against all who stand before her. Her work is clunky, awkward, and not even remotely believable, her promos are drier than month-old bread, and her scripting is putrid, making her a guaranteed lowlight every single week.

Producer Pat Buck once again took the brunt of Nia's wrath on RAW, with Jax calling him a "scrawny undeserving little runt who couldn't cut the mustard in his own career," having battered him last week. Jax offered Buck a match. Pat said he was only there because WWE told him Nia was going to apologise, so 'The Irresistible Force' dropped a crap "you've got ginger hair lol" joke, beat him up, and earned herself an indefinite suspension.

None of this is good, so let's hope WWE uses Nia's absence from television to reconfigure her act.
