7. Rollins & Dominik Get Repetitive

Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins is immediately one of SummerSlam 2020's most interesting matches. There's no way of telling how Dominik will do though he has looked good in his physical spots thus far, throwing everything into his kendo stick assaults and big dives. Rollins is one of WWE's more consistent wrestlers too. He's a safe choice to guide Dom through his first pro-wrestling match ever, particularly if he's able to implant their story's intensity into the ring work.

Last night's segment, however, was a big slice of same old, same old. Rollins hit the ring to answer Dominik's challenge. This led to a confrontation with Tom Phillips for some reason, and up stepped Samoa Joe, showing out for his announcing buddy. Dom then jumped Rollins and Murphy with a kendo stick, chased them up the ramp, and had his challenge accepted.

Again, Dominik was good here, but this was essentially a retread of last week's Aleister Black angle. The wheels are spinning and they need to start taking the storyline in different directions.
