3 Ups & 12 Downs From WWE Raw (May 31)

11. Another Tag Team Vanishes

Guess we have too many tag team challengers for AJ Styles & Omos these days, because we got to see the disintegration of another duo on Monday night.

On the heels of Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin calling it quits, we saw Elias walk out during a tag title match on his partner Jaxson Ryker, leaving Ryker to face Omos and get demolished before being put away with a Phenomenal Forearm.

While this duo wasn’t a real threat to the tag titles, they were a perfectly serviceable heel tag team, capable of picking up the occasional win, wrestling singles when necessary, and having decent matches as needed. Now, we’ll probably see both men meander aimlessly with no real direction.

Meanwhile, that leaves us with just six active tag teams on the entire Raw roster – including the champs. That’s not exactly a healthy division.
