3 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Royal Rampage (July 21)

2. A Chaotic Trios Set-Up

QTV The Acclaimed
AEW

Christ knows how many times AEW wants to press play then press pause with The Acclaimed and this Trios Titles division, but at least their matches are fun for the most part. On Friday, Anthony Bowens, Max Caster and Billy Gunn toppled QT Marshall, Aaron Solo and Johnny TV in a logical, chaotic six-man.

It gets pass marks here.

The action never stopped, and everybody clearly had a blast bumping around for one another. Fans seemed into what they were seeing too, which was certainly welcome after that 'Royal Rumble' epic (sans finish) bored the sh*t out of everybody. Seeing some actual action was a welcome change.

Of course, All Elite's refs are pretty much useless in these trios scraps, but that's expected by now. Even that couldn't stop The Acclaimed and 'Daddy Ass' vs. QTV from hitting some heights and coming across well. Now, onto Collision and House Of Black for the babyfaces.
