3 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Feb 15)

1. Impact Escapes

Ever since he captured the World Championship at Bound For Glory last October, there's been plenty of criticism surrounding Johnny Impact's reign with the gold. The ending of his title-winning match didn't help things with the whole Austin Aries situation, but one thing that has remained great throughout his run has been the quality of the matches he's put on.

That was precisely the case at Uncaged as he defended against Brian Cage, Killer Kross, and Moose. The action, the storytelling, just everything about the match folded into one fantastic main event. Kross attacking Moose was a particularly enjoyable segment of the bout, showing that Kross would do anything to win the title. A botched finish saw Impact slightly miss Moose with the Starship Pain - that aside, a lovely main event was had.

It's currently unclear as to who will be next in line to challenge Johnny for his most prized possession. Seeing as he's beaten the company's three biggest threats to the title, it's likely it won't be any of them.. Only time will tell...
