3 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Feb 8)

Ups...

3. A Lesson Learned?

Your writer thought this day would never come.

It looks as if Sami Callihan has finally accepted Rich Swann's refusal to join oVe! After weeks of trying and failing to get the current X Division Champion in the ranks, The Draw has moved on to pastures new. He battled Puma King this week in a highly enjoyable contest, although Puma did look a bit slow at certain points. Nevertheless though, a fine match between he and Sami.

Adding to that, the Crist brothers were nowhere to be seen during the entire match. As much as they're brilliant, it's a refreshing sight to see Callihan being allowed to do his own thing. He's been aligned with oVe since he was first brought into Impact and although he's mainly done singles rivalries thus far, he's always had Jake and Dave beside him. They don't need to be permanently separated, but a few times here and there would keep things feeling fresh.

Sami's scheduled to 'tell all' at Uncaged, so let's hope that doesn't lead to him asking Swann to join the group week in and week out again...
