3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 22 - Results & Review)

Downs...

3. Maybe A Bit Much Going On?

AAA Mega Championship AEW
AEW

Fair warning: Some out there will not agree with any of these 'Downs'. That's obviously fair enough. This is just one fan's opinion, after all. However, surely many would concur that Tony Khan is guilty of battering viewers over the head with different brands that heavily dilute the core AEW experience.

He isn't gonna change now.

El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Black Taurus was for the AAA Mega Championship. It aired on AEW Rampage, and the commentary team reminded you that it was a rematch from ROH Final Battle. Christ, do you think that's enough?! Is it impossible for All Elite Wrestling to streamline things and focus on their own product?

Yes, Khan owns Ring Of Honor, but the haphazard way this was all spewed out was numbing. Anyone watching Rampage heard both AAA and ROH put in front of AEW, and that just shouldn't really be happening on an AEW program.

It's a little much.
