3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 22 - Results & Review)

2. Absolutely F This!

Black Taurus El Hijo del Vikingo Powerbomb AEW Botch

There was an upside to the main event you'll read in a bit. First, this downright scary spot. Vikingo landed almost right on top of his head during a powerbomb, but got up and no sold the thing because he clearly wasn't supposed to nearly break his neck. That was terrifying.

Even Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Chris Jericho briefly paused on comms, likely 'cause they were wondering if something awful had just happened. Thankfully, the high flyer was alright. Everyone gets that Vikingo wrestles a certain style, but he honestly needs to be careful with this stuff.

He's prone to some sloppy moments, and there were a few in this match alone. Maybe (just maybe), the dude doesn't need to try do every single move he knows in every single match. What a radical concept, huh? It'll never catch on, because his sugar rush spot-heavy style gets those, "THIS IS AWESOME" chants.

That's fine, but something tragic could occur if this isn't seen as a teachable moment.
