3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Jan 26 - Results & Review)

2. It’s Really Hard To Care About This

Apologies to anyone who does, but the dude writing this didn't care one bit who was going on to challenge Orange Cassidy for the International Title come Collision. Why? Well, exactly zero of the four involved were given any kind of mic time to sell themselves. They were just shoved into the ring like some kid was playing Universe Mode in WWE 2K24.

Tony needs to stop with these incessant, hasty number one contendership "stories" that lead to a quick match then nothing else. It's painfully dull, and makes it nigh-on impossible to emotionally invest in any of the characters popping up on screen vying for championships.

The main event from Rampage wasn't bad technically, but it was pancake flat in terms of overall fan interest. Time for more of a personal bitch: This guy has no time for someone hitting a Canadian Destroyer outside the ring, then picking his opponent up for another dive spot from somebody else seconds later.

Let moves sink in and moments breathe, for crying out loud. Nothing you do will mean anything if nobody sells it!
