Downs...

3. Still Annoying

AEW Rampage Collision
AEW

Sorry to anyone who hates this being in the 'Downs' so frequently, but it is what it is. Seeing ads for Collision/AEW programming in general whilst there's a match raging on in the ring is hard to stomach. It totally downplays the importance of the program you're actually watching, and is just avoidable.

Look, promoting what's coming next is logical, but there's a way to do it. Throwing up a graphic along the bottom of the screen is fine, but dominating real estate and muting one of those matches you've already advertised is plain annoying and something Tony Khan badly needs to rethink.

He's doing his own product a disservice here.

It comes across as this: 'Hey! Y'know that match you're currently watching that we lured you in with on Dynamite? Yeah, well, it doesn't matter! Here's another one that we'll treat like an afterthought when you're watching that too!'.
