3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 12)

1. Yet Another Faction

Trustbusters deserve a chance to succeed. They really, really do, but it's nonetheless true that they've landed on a busy scene that's already stacked with factions. Worse, there's nothing to really make the group stand out, and they don't really go together as acts either.

Parker Boudreaux is Brock Lesnar-lite, Ari Daivari is crowing about being rich, Slim J is James Ellsworth-ish and Sonny Kiss will need time to properly explore this recent heel turn. Will Sonny get that time? No, probably not. They'll be stuffed behind Parker in meaningless tags for a while.

Calling it now.

This all smacks of lazy booking. Kiss went from jobbing for Boudreaux one minute to booting Orange Cassidy in the b*llocks and posing with Parker. Huh? Why?! No, questions hanging over things aren't bad, but AEW definitely won't deep dive on Sonny's reasons.
