3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Feb 24)

1. Breathless Action

Put this guy's issues with AEW refs to the side for a second.

The Young Bucks vs. Aussie Open was an all-action opener. If you're the type of wrestling fan who just wants to sit down and watch some bodies flying all over the place, then this breathless bout had you covered. In fairness, and in spite of earlier whines, Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis looked great here.

It was a typical Bucks match, so know that going in - not every kind of viewer enjoys their brand of logic-free spotfest, but there was a lot to like throughout. At times, the energy of the live crowd made it hard not to get sucked into what was happening, or ignore the fact that psychology took a real back seat far too often.

Credit must go to the Aussie Open boys for doing themselves proud against one of AEW's elite (ahem) tag-teams. They can pat themselves on the back for doing everything in their power to catch TK's eye and become a full-time regular act.

Perhaps that's AO's next step.
