3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 25)

2. Needless Filler

QT Marshall Aaron Solow Hook
AEW

Hook needed to move up a rung on the AEW ladder after dispatching QT Marshall during the Revolution Buy-In. That five-minute submission match should've been the end of their issue...but it wasn't. Nah, QT has changed tact and is trying to suck up to Taz's boy.

The 'Certificate Of Accomplishment' angle they tried on Rampage was a waste of previous TV minutes. Hook smashed Aaron Solow's head into the glass frame, then Danhausen came out to try and put a curse on the babyface. It didn't work, he looked confused and he left.

OK then?

Surely the point of any storyline skit is that it advances a storyline. Fans learned nothing here, and one must question the wisdom of having Hook team up with Danhausen as some sort of odd couple (that's coming). This was a miss.
