Downs...

4. Nothing To See Here

One week after defeating Liv Morgan in singles competition, Charlotte Flair's run through the Riott Squad's ranks continued against Sarah Logan. The match itself was mediocre. Logan dominated long stretches, but she didn't excel during these control periods, struggling to draw any kind of heat from the crowd.

Such is the story of the Riott Squad's run so far. Their performances have been fine, and they have chemistry with each other, but the audience just doesn't care. Granted, this is largely down to the bookers, as the Squad's first few angles were direct retreads of those performed by Absolution on Raw, and they've rarely been placed in strong, winning positions. Most of their matches and segments are met with complete silence, though, and it's not getting any better.

Charlotte bringing Becky Lynch and Naomi to the ring was an odd move, too. This would've made more sense a few weeks ago, when Flair was regularly succumbing to the trio's superior numbers, but she defeated Morgan without any help last week, so why would she need assistance against Logan? The lack of consistency is baffling.
