3 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Nov 1)

2. Make Up Your Mind

The booking in the rivalry between Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyire has been all over the place as of late.

First, you have Taya saying she no longer has any respect for the Knockouts Champion because of her actions to retain the title at Bound For Glory. Tessa responded by saying she didn't care about Taya's respect, but then challenged her to a rematch which, in a way, means she does care about how much Taya respects her.

Now, she's cheated again to retain the title, which shows us that she perhaps can't get the job done without sinking to these depths.

It's confusing to say the least. On one side, the matches themselves have been good at the very least, meaning the rivalry hasn't been completely idiotic. On the other hand, the booking has been questionable, leaving both women (Tessa especially) looking like fools. It also leaves the door open for closure to the rivalry. If that's the case, you have to wonder if the ending will come without any shenanigans this time around.

Yes, it is nitpicking, but if that weren't the case, then what would this article be about?
