3 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (17 May - Results & Review)

Ups...

3. Preferring To Look On The Bright Side

LA Knight Tama Tonga

LA Knight dropping to Tama Tonga will surely anger some out there, but yours truly is choosing to look on the brighter side. WWE surely has alternate plans for Knight, and there's no real difference between losing to Tama here or failing in another match later on. The writing team will have to cash in on LA's popularity at some point though.

He's screaming for success.

Man has options, to be fair. Knight worked some backstage business with Carmelo Hayes this week, and his issues with The Bloodline could lead to LA teaming with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs. Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. That'd be a fine bit of padding for Clash At The Castle over in Scotland.

Of course, what people really fancy seeing is Knight beating Logan Paul for the United States Title. Stay tuned until SummerSlam for that, which means LA will either get involved with Bloodline battering or work a mini-feud vs. Hayes in the interim.
