3 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 30)

Ups...

3. An All-Energy Triple Threat

As aforementioned, it's far beyond old that WWE formats these 'go home' shows this way, but the three-way putting Butch vs. LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar was energetic enough to grab an 'Up'. Admittedly, the most juice is on Knight vs. Logan Paul - that's the combo people want to see in this MITB match.

Butch, despite winning, and Escobar (who couldn't get anything LWO over here) are making up the numbers. The same could be said for Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest too, being fair. They weren't even involved in this brawl to prematurely hold the briefcase.

Yeah, about that...it's another symbolic photo op that needs the heave ho. Why would anybody risk injury 24 hours before a f*cking multi-man ladder match just to climb a few rungs and hold the case? It doesn't make any sense, but seems to happen constantly heading into these pay-per-views.

Still, at least the Triple Threat was slick. Enough to push this one into 'Up' territory.
