3 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage: Black Friday (Nov 25)

Ups...

3. Tidy Little Match

Anthony Henry Darby Allin
AEW

Time for some positivity. Also, stats.

That win on Rampage was Darby Allin's 70th victory in AEW. It also made him 4-2 against real-life pal Anthony Henry too, at least according to Excalibur. Darbs and Henry have worked against one another elsewhere several times, and one could see their chemistry come to the fore on TNT.

Although it was nothing dazzling, this was a solid win for Allin. Sure, everybody could've done without the usual picture-in-picture interruptions, but that's an ongoing problem and these boys worked around it well by keeping their powder dry for the full screen action. That was appreciated.

There must be others who'd like to see a bit more of Henry on Dynamite and Rampage during the final month of 2022 and into 2023. He's been squashed a few times on the flagship, but showed enough here vs. Darby to suggest Tony Khan should give him more of a look in.
