3 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sept 15)

4. Blink And You’ll Miss It

The Righteous Matt Jeff Hardy
AEW

Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal and the rest of their gang laid Matt and Jeff Hardy out on the ramp right at the end of the eight-man tag. Then, for some reason, The Righteous appeared to stand tall over The Hardys and laugh at their misfortune. Presumably, this is heading to Matt and Jeff on ROH more often?

Or, maybe The Righteous will get a featured spot on Rampage.

That's all well and good, but...the whole segment lasted literally 20 seconds, and was only mentioned in passing by the announcers because they had to whizz onto the next promo. So, in other words, fans weren't given much of a reason to care about what The Righteous want from Matt and Jeff.

The whole thing fell rather flat due to its brevity. It was blink and you'll miss it quick, and that doesn't work well when the ROH team haven't been spotlighted much on shows like Dynamite, Collision or even Rampage recently. Changing that could be a struggle!
