3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (19 January - Results & Review)

DOWNS…

5. An Unfortunate Ending

WWE Je'Von Evans
WWE

It’s always difficult to give negative marks to a match due to injury, but honestly, the bout between El Grande Americano and Je’Von Evans wasn’t exactly tearing the house down before the match was called off due to an Evans injury.

Je’Von and El Grande struggled to get on the same page throughout the six-minute match, stumbling about in a few spots. But when Raw returned from commercial, the announcers mentioned that Evans was sitting on the floor next to their table with the trainer, and that the match was being called off. It was later reported that there was concern that Je’Von had sustained a concussion.

This likely would have been Evans’ trifecta over the masked stable or at least set up a more definitive showdown between the rookie and Los Americanos’ leader. Hopefully, Je’Von will be back on his feet quickly and can get himself back in the mix.
