3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 9)

4. Not Quite There

The Fatal-4-Way match for those SmackDown Tag Titles should've been another pulsating multi-man sprint through finishers, chain sequences and more. This was WWE's chance to prove that the blue brand's doubles division has purpose, but everything fell flat in the end.

The agent in charge of this one did a poor job of displaying the individual threats posed by The Street Profits, Alpha Academy and The Mysterio clan to those belts. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode rarely looked in serious trouble, which totally sh*ts all over the point of a match like this.

Being honest, this didn't deserve to be on 'Mania. It was a TV match at best.

WWE were right to scrap this from the pay-per-view line up, and that's rather upsetting. Dirty Dawgs could be great champs if they had one specific feud to focus on rather than the lazy idea that they're running from everybody.
