3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 12)

Ups...

3. A Solid Tag Match

It's no secret that this article is rarely kind to The Street Profits - that wouldn't be the case if they either stopped being so obnoxious in promos or WWE turned them heel. Still, only a fool could deny that they were booked well on Friday's episode. This was simple and straightforward enough to be inoffensive.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins cut a quick screen-in-screen promo putting themselves forward for a SmackDown Tag-Team Title rematch. Then, they beat fellow faces Otis and Chad Gable (Gable could be considered a tweener, to be fair) in a simple, decent tag match that didn't overstay its welcome.

See? Simple.

There were no prolonged post-match rants from The Profits to kill the buzz either. They declared their intentions for the gold, won a solid tag and then got the hell out of there after dancing with Sasha Banks on the ramp. More of this straightforward booking, please.
