Predictable booking isn't always bad.

Sometimes, the most obvious outcomes are the right outcomes. It's fair to say that was the case for both of the Elimination Chamber qualification matches on SmackDown, but...they also lacked any and all excitement because of that. Check this out for a run down.

Sami Zayn and 'King' Corbin were always going to beat Rey and Dominik Mysterio in the opener, 'cause the Chamber needed more heels. Next, nobody truly believed that reigning SmackDown Tag Champs Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode had a hope in hell of overcoming Daniel Bryan and Cesaro.

It was super-obvious who was winning both bouts. That fact, and Adam Pearce's call to put KO and Uso in automatically without struggle, definitely wounded any appetite for these qualifiers. Neither match really seemed to get out of second gear either, which was surprisingly given some of the talent on offer.
