3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Sept 16)

1. At Least It’s Something Fresh

The main event Fatal-4-Way tag was a blast.

Butch and Ridge Holland were far from this fan's pick to win the thing, but their victory was a neat little surprise to close out this week's show. Sheamus' and company have some momentum after the Irishman's performance vs. Gunther on Clash At The Castle, so don't be mad at it.

New Day challenging yet again would've been lame, and Imperium vs. The Usos doesn't really sound right either. Hit Row were the other option available to WWE, but Triple H clearly wants to pump the brakes on Top Dolla' and Ashante Adonis for now. Their time will come.

If nothing else, at least the 'Brawling Brutes' challenging Jimmy and Jey Uso is something totally fresh. Butch and Ridge were heels up until mega-recently, so this isn't a match the promotion has done to death during The Usos' lengthy title reign.
