3 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dark (Dec 10)

Excalibur Chuck Taylor Orange Cassidy
AEW

AEW continued the recent theme of having wrestlers step in for guest announcing slots on last night's Dark, with Excalibur reuniting with PWG buddy Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy for the opener.

This went well. Taylor was funny, calling Jimmy Havoc a "pervert" for stapling him in the crotch the other week, while Cassidy's role was perfect for his character. 'Freshly Squeezed' didn't utter a single word. The man's so lazy, in fact, that he didn't even bother to put his headset on, because why the hell would he?

Britt Baker came in for the Jurassic Express match and immediately felt a lot more comfortable than she did in her last guest commentary stint. She was positive, had decent energy, and played a complementary role by offering constructive criticism, putting the action over, and offering several snippets of Luchasaurus lore. A good job from her.
