3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Nov 2)

Downs...

6. Poker Face

Duke Hudson Cameron Grimes Poker
WWE

Fairness is important.

Cameron Grimes is entertaining, and Duke Hudson didn't exactly do anything wrong, but the pair's poker segments lacked a certain sparkle to them. Watch some of APA's old office skits and then compare them - unlike those skits with Bradshaw and Faarooq, these didn't flow.

They were rather rigid, being honest. Though it's true a feud between these two guys is a decent idea on the surface, they'll need a lot more to work with. Awkwardly interacting with mute extras (why don't these people ever speak?) won't cut it. Grimes and Duke deserved some more banter to bounce off of.

This may also be a personal gripe, but seeing some lads sit around playing cards isn't the most gripping addition to a pro wrestling show. Screw poker and get in the ring, boys! Everyone tried to make the best of this, but it was a swing and a miss.
