Gallus’ Mark Coffey and Wolfgang were the NXT UK Tag Team Champions only a few weeks ago, but that record-shattering reign is lost on everyone at NXT UK apparently. Now, they just play football until someone intervenes.
Coffey kicked the ball away as he was nearing five hundred kicks in a row, with Rampage Brown entering the scene with the ball in hand. The Leeds man demanded to know where Joe Coffey was, Gallus refused, and a match was seemingly booked between Rampage and Wolfgang. Cool?
Don’t get your writer wrong, it should be a classic big beefy hoss fight if done correctly, but this was a terrible way of reaching that conclusion. The two Gallus boys spoke of how this was their way of showing how they get back up when they fall down, despite coming out victorious in last week’s six-man tag vs. Eddie Dennis’ Symbiosis lads. Furthermore, it made no sense as to why Joe actually was absent from the skit; no reason was given.
Again, Rampage vs. Wolfgang? It’ll be a corker. There are better ways to get to the end destination.
