2. Oba Rebuffs Heyman

God bless Paul Heyman, who is the wrestling equivalent of a cockroach. The dude watches one meal ticket leave and immediately gloms onto another. Sometimes, he uses one meal ticket to turn on another.

But with Brock Lesnar retired, Roman Reigns doing a strange babyface/heel shuffle, and The Vision being a hopeless collection of goofs, Heyman is without a golden goose. However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have prospects.

Cue Oba Femi, fresh off his win against Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank. Femi did his usual admirable job on the microphone, saying Reed didn’t understand the hype surrounding The Ruler, but he got a crash course in why Oba is the man.

Femi then launched into an "it doesn’t matter” rant, saying it doesn’t matter who a person is, how big or strong they are, who they’ve beaten, what titles they’ve won, who their cousins are, or how many cousins they have (nice pointed dig there); they will all bend the knee. Without naming Reigns, Oba once again planted the seed that the Tribal Chief is on his radar.

But before Oba could talk about his destiny, Heyman interrupted, prattling for a while until Femi cut him off, then tossed his mic out of the ring before telling the Wise Man that he wasn’t a Paul Heyman guy; he’s an Oba Femi guy.

Piss off, Heyman. Oba’s not for sale.
