3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (July 11)

4. We’ve Seen This Already

While it didn’t end up happening (in yet another instance of WWE changing its booking plans), WWE advertised what would have been the fourth singles bout between the Street Profits and Usos in a month.

But Angelo Dawkins versus Jimmy Uso never took place, instead being turned into a six-man tag match involving R-Truth and Omos. Still, we were about to have yet another iteration of the two tag teams matching up in a singles bout, because that’s the only way WWE knows how to build a tag feud. It’s worth noting that the two also have had two tag title matches in the past five weeks as well, so we’ve seen this rivalry done to death… and there’s still another tag title match set for SummerSlam!

When you talk about overkill, this is a great example, and a great way to kill interest in what should be a great match.
