Ups…

3. Judgment Day Recruitment Efforts

You can think that Dominik Mysterio is miscast and overmatched, or you can love everything about the young superstar, and both sides can agree that a change of scenery and getting away from his famous father might be the best move for him to grow and develop.

Dominik has been paired with his father Rey Mysterio since debuting on the main roster, leaving him simply as “Rey’s son” to many. The insults have focused on him not being as good as his legendary dad, which is unfortunately very true, and that doesn’t help Dom step out of his father’s shadow.

However, The Judgment Day has offered Dominik an “out,” an opportunity to join the group and work on his own identity, out from under Rey’s shadow. The duo made their case to Dom on Monday night, before Finn Balor defeated Mysterio in singles action.

Afterwards, Finn and Damian Priest stood over a fallen Rey and repeated their offer to Dom, pointing out that the legendary luchador has nothing left to offer at this stage in his career. And the best part? They actually have a point, having just beaten Rey to a pulp.

And a change for Dom could be good at this point, because he’s always going to be stunted under Rey.
