3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 25)

5. Worst Nightmares Come True

Jimmy Uso Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are one of the finest heel tag-teams in pro wrestling. They get how to be annoying, and they're experts at building heat for babyfaces before then selling their arses off during inevitable comebacks.

Difficult to be a great tag when you're working singles matches though.

Ziggler felt like a poor choice of opponent for Jimmy Uso here. Uso is toying with a heel turn himself (which, admittedly, could be a ruse), so it was illogical to stick a definite villain in there with him and hope for the best; talent and hard work often offsets lazy booking, but not on this occasion.

It genuinely sucks that Dolph and Bobby are total afterthoughts right now. They were a regular highlight on SmackDown as champs, and now they're reduced to making up the numbers in random angles that really shouldn't concern them.
