3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Mar 11)

1. Butch?!

Pete Dunne's SmackDown debut was snakebitten, and not only because of Big E's horrific injury. No, Dunne popped up in a backstage segment as "Butch", and is apparently longtime pals with Sheamus and Ridge Holland. Lord only knows why WWE do this sort of thing.

Yours truly hate, hate, hates when they pretend that someone's NXT history was imaginary and act like someone of Dunne's standing is some new kid on the block. He's been in WWE's system for years! What are they bloody doing? Also, is "Butch" really the best they could come up with?!

Pete is supposed to look p*ssed off, and he does that presentation very well, but he's probably miffed for real at all of this. Dunne playing the part of scrappy companion to Sheamus and Ridge is fine, but the new name makes him sound more like a mutt than a valuable asset.

Here boy!
