3 Ups & 7 Downs From AEW Dark (Nov 5)

Ups...

3. Baker Bites Back

Britt Baker
AEW

Britt Baker was great in a mid-show promo that probably should have gone down on Dynamite, not Dark, given how effective it was in putting her rivalry with Bea Priestley over.

The good doctor stressed that part of being a wrestler is being professional in her pre-recorded sitdown promo, adding that she was all about becoming the best pro-wrestler she can possibly be, not hurting other people. Her peers, unfortunately, aren't so professional, and when Priestley hurt her at Fight for the Fallen, she received calls, texts, and other well-wishes from everyone else on the roster. Not Bea, though. The New Zealander violated an unwritten rule by not checking in with her. "Some people are professionals," Britt said, "and some people are pieces of sh*t."

Though she put Priesley over as a wrestler, Baker threatened to rip her jaw off when they face at Full Gear. Does she have that in her, though? Britt, herself, wasn't sure, but said Bea would experience what she felt like at Fight for the Fallen.

Comfortably Baker's best piece of content since AEW began. It was tremendous, and here's hoping Bea claps back on Dynamite.
