3 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 26)

1. Hurt Business Has A Price

After weeks of the Hurt Business defending WWE against RETRIBUTION, we finally learned what was hinted at months ago: the villainous crew wasn’t doing it for free.

MVP and company revealed that they viewed taking out RETRIBUTION as a business opportunity and worked out a deal with WWE management to take out the invading group in exchange for payment – in gold.

Later, the Hurt Business keyed in on New Day’s Raw Tag Team Championship as some of that gold they’re seeking, which makes perfect sense. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander would make outstanding tag title contenders.

One sticking point: For this to make sense, you’d have to totally disregard that chronologically, WWE struck a deal with the Hurt Business to get rid of RETRIBUTION before they signed the Mustafa Ali-led force, which means the company agreed to get rid of an invading group that they then signed to contracts.

It would be like hiring an exterminator and then letting the ants into your house as pets, then ask the exterminator to still try to get rid of them.
