3 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 26)

2. Styles Picks Up Another Win

While we’re still not a fan of the intimidating associate with no backstory just yet, at least AJ Styles is continuing to take advantage of opportunities to pick up wins on Raw.

For the third consecutive week, Styles cashed in on a distracted or downed opponent to get a victory. This time, it was Jeff Hardy getting momentarily distracted by Big Jordan, allowing AJ to post Hardy and nail a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

What’s more, Styles isn’t hiding behind his giant associate (yet), so it isn’t like he is the incompetent heel relying on outside help to save him from certain defeat. It’s an edge to help him secure wins. And yes, there’s a difference.

If that happens in regular matches, then we’ve reached a point of stupidity once again in WWE booking.
