3 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 26)

5. Lana Wins, Goes Through Table

If you were looking for someone on Raw who is a metaphor for WWE’s fortunes and projections, look no further than the Ravishing Russian.

Lana once again on Monday took advantage of circumstances to capture a victory, despite others doing all the work and she just stole the pinfall. She also once again haplessly got put through a table by Nia Jax. In this situation, Lana was foolish enough to assume that Nia being on the same team would treat her any better.

The victory came in a fatal four-way match to crown the fifth member of Raw’s women’s Survivor Series elimination match. That match itself was pretty bland, with there being enough of a dead spot to fit in a chinlock. Peyton Royce looked good and probably could have used a victory in singles competition, so naturally the win went to the perpetual joke.
