3 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw After WrestleMania 37

1. McIntyre Rights The Ship

You had to wonder how Drew McIntyre would rebound after losing to Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 37 on Saturday.

The man who carried the company on his back during the empty arena era lost in the first show with fans in 13 months, but came back on Monday night to win a triple threat match against Braun Strowman and Randy Orton to earn a WWE Championship rematch at WrestleMania Backlash. The win came after Orton nailed an RKO on Strowman, and McIntyre broke up the pinfall by hitting Randy with a Claymore for the win.

While it’s unclear what this means for the next PPV – was Drew’s big win simply delayed a month to give Lashley a moment? – it means that McIntyre will remain front-and-center for at least another month as a top guy on Raw.
