If you’ve followed Xavier Woods on Twitter, you’re already familiar with his desire to become King of the Ring. It’s something that goes back quite a bit with him.

That’s why all the chatter from the announcers and Woods himself about wanting to be KOTR actually rings true and feels very real. Xavier came one step closer to achieving that dream when he beat Ricochet in the first round of the 2021 tournament in a pretty good match.

Woods and Ricochet showed off with some nice action in the match, though it still felt a bit rushed, especially for a quarterfinal contest.

Still, we’ll give this passing marks because Woods as King of the Ring would be a fun story to watch and dream come true.
