3 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw

2. Tyson Kidd, Total Divas Punchline

The announcers said it best during the match: Tyson Kidd is almost never on Raw anymore, and when he shows up, he€™s too busy listening to his iPod to pay attention to what€™s going on in the ring. Of course, the €œmatch€ in the ring was a hideous Layla vs. Rosa Mendes bout, but that was just window-dressing for the Total Divas cross-promotion, with Kidd and Natalya€™s €œmarital trouble€ taking center stage. Let€™s just get this straight: A €œreality€ TV show that is chronicling a failing marriage (which by the way was taped some time ago) is driving an angle on Raw. And from this, we€™re supposed to believe that Kidd is a bad husband, a self-absorbed jackass who resents the fact that his wife gets more face time than he does. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2BZ0UVvS3c&list=PLF0CB8E7B4C77DB61 Sorry for reference Punk again, but he had it right when he ranted about Tyson Kidd being a workhorse who doesn€™t get a chance to shine on the big stage. Kidd has been having outstanding matches on NXT in recent months. He€™s built up his character too, which was something that was seemingly lacking previously. Kidd finally gets an appearance on Raw, and it€™s not in a match, it€™s angle enhancement €“ for Total Divas. Appearing on that show must really pay the bills, because it can€™t be what Kidd dreamed about while toiling away in the Hart Dungeon.
