3 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Nov 22)
1. One Bad Turn Deserves Another
As punishment for interfering in Kalisto's matches with Brian Kendrick and The Miz, Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan booked "The Lone Wolf" in a one-on-one match with Kane. That bout was the penultimate contest on the show.
Given that the match started at 9:42, it was clear that it wasn't going to go too long. After a few punches were traded, Kalisto came in with a springboard dropkick to Corbin, knocking down the big man and drawing a disqualification. Kane then laid Corbin out with a chokeslam, giving the good guys a measure of satisfaction.
Kalisto wasn't finished, though. Furious, he ran out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair, then dove back in. Corbin quickly headed for the hills, but he was so angry at Kalisto that he re-entered. That allowed the former United States Champion the opportunity to toss the chair to "The Lone Wolf," then kick it into his face.
So, this wasn't really anything, but at least it gives us a chairs match between Kalisto and Corbin at the PPV. Yay.
